​Texels are a heavily muscled sheep that produces a lean carcass and will pass this quality onto the crossbred progeny.

With their thick, heavily muscled carcasses we think they are a perfect fit for a terminal sire. 

We bought our Texel flock on West Virginia University's (WVU) dispersal sale in 2022. WVU was one of the few Texel flocks submitting data to NSIP which we plan to continue. We're excited about the potential of this breed and look forward to developing our breeding program for them.
