We recently made the switch to Maremma dogs after having trouble with our Great Pyrenees roaming. We like the Maremma’s because they have a friendly, gentle disposition and stay close to the sheep. This makes them perfect for us since we live in a heavily populated area and often have visitors on the farm.

​Ruthie is our female and does an exceptional job guarding her sheep. She usually is found with any flock of sheep that is grazing and does a great job leading the sheep between pastures or into the barn.

Lil’ Dude is our male and is currently a year old. He is doing well at learning the ropes of being a sheep guard dog. He usually can be found in the sheep barn guarding the flocks. Let us know if you are interested in Maremma puppies out of these two.
