Matt started raising commercial Katahdin sheep in 2008 on his parent's farm.In 2009, he sold that flock and bought a registered flock of Katahdins, and moved them to the current farm location. In 2013, he joined the National Sheep Improvement Program. In 2018, he added White Dorpers from Paul Lewis in Oregon and a few Romanovs. In 2021, Matt married the love of his life, Katie. In 2022, they added Texels to the farm from West Virginia University flock dispersal and began hosting on farm education sessions and sales twice a year.
